DIY Sneaker Lab
In preparation for the annual Creative Girls Rock Charity Sneaker Ball, CGR will host a #DIYSneakerLab for young girls (ages 6-11) and teens (ages 12-17) collaborating with Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) and other nonprofit organizations.
During this workshop, participants had the opportunity to bring a pair of sneakers to life by painting and/or adding some bedazzle bling to their sneakers. Creativity provides a healthy outlet for kids to express their emotions, reducing stress and promoting emotional well-being. It also stimulates problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and imagination, which are essential for cognitive growth.
