The CGR Charity Sneaker Ball is an annual black-tie fundraiser event established in 2019 to support Creative Girls Rock®. Proceeds from the event are used to partner with other 501c3 organizations to create additional programming for young girls and women, ages 6 and up, that align with Creative Girls Rock’s mission, purpose and initiatives.
The most anticipated aspect of the CGR Charity Sneaker Ball is seeing how guests creatively pair their fancy black-tie attire with their "flyest" kicks (sneakers). The reception also features an innovative art showcase and fashion experience that highlights local artists and fashion designers. Heavy hors’d'oeuvres and beverages are served during the reception.
In addition, we presented the CGR Innovator Awards highlighting innovative women who are the epitome of our four (4) key initiatives: Creative Arts, Mental Health & Wellness, Women Empowerment and Youth Development, and a special award, the Influencer Innovator Award.
Between 2021 and 2022, over 350 Creative Girls Rock®️ supporters attended the event. We exceeded our goal in 2021 and raised $68,000.00, and in 2022 we raised $75,000.00 through our ticket sales, sponsors and donations to support our mission of providing free creative arts programming for young girls and women around the world.
This year, 2023, our goal is to raise $100,000.00 with your help to support the mission of Creative Girls Rock®.

Attire: Creative Black Tie x Sneakers
Definition: Formal, but with a trendy/creative twist.
Women: Floor-length evening gown, knee-length cocktail dress, dressy pant/tuxedo suit, ballgown skirt and top or little black dress. Jewelry and accessories should be unique and creative.
Men: Dressy suit or tuxedo combined with trendy items, such as an all black shirt (vs. white) or a colored or patterned bow tie, tie, cummerbund, suspenders, etc.
