On September 15, 2020, Creative Girls Rock® (CGR) was awarded Metro Nashville CARES Act funding from the United Way of Greater Nashville. Grant funds will be used to offer financial assistance to individuals who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds may be applied to rent, mortgage or utility accounts that are past due.
Applications will be reviewed and processed in the order they are received. Individuals may qualify for up to $4,000.00 in assistance. Applications will be accepted until grant funds run out. All payments will be made directly to a mortgage company, landlord or utility company.
Please note: Creative Girls Rock® WILL NOT make payments directly to individuals who qualify for the program. Application submissions do not guarantee funding.

Requirements to receive financial assistance:
Must be a resident of Davidson County, Tennessee.
CGR will use the Our Fair Share Nashville Preliminary Report of The Equity Alliance as an appropriate resource to prioritize individuals who should receive assistance, with the understanding that any resident of Davidson County unable to make rent, mortgage, or utilities payments because of COVID-19 shall be considered eligible to receive assistance.
Must be at least two (2) months past due in rent, mortgage or utility payments.
Delinquency must have been incurred no earlier than March 1, 2020. Any delinquency incurred before that period will not be covered by the grant.
Rent/Mortgage Bill: Applicant can request up to $3,000.00
Utility Bill(s): Applicant can request up to $1,000.00
Financial situation must have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Proof of delinquency must be provided and verified.
Limit is one (1) application submission per household.
