Join Vox Grata either in person or virtually for our May concert series, “Anonymous was a Woman.” Featuring choral works composed by women throughout the ages, this concert shines a light on underrepresented and often ignored artists. Of special significance will be works composed by three women composers from the Baroque/Italian convent tradition -- Isabella Leonarda, Raffaella Aleotti, and Chiara Margarita Cozzolani. These pieces will be accompanied by members of the professional ensemble, Music City Baroque.

Two performances are scheduled – Thursday, May 4th at Second Presbyterian Church, Nashville at 7:30 PM and Tuesday, May 9th at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Nashville, at 7:30 PM. Both concerts will also be live-streamed with links available via Vox Grata’s website and Facebook page.
