CGR Virtual Master Class: Celebrating Diversity Crayon Canvas Art Workshop

Celebrating Diversity through Art...

Ages 7-15. Youth under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

During this workshop, we will create a crayon canvas masterpiece that celebrates diversity to help our children learn acceptance, self-awareness and embrace their own unique artistic talents.

We’re all different, so let’s celebrate the wealth of culture and diversity we each bring to the table, and what we can learn from one another.

What is Crayon Canvas Art:

What may have been your first-ever craft supply gets a fine art spin with this project: colorful crayons are melted to create an expert piece of wall art. Use concentrated hot air to drip glued crayons down a canvas, and let your abstract art essentially create itself.

The wax sets in drip patterns to produce an interesting focal point for a kid’s playroom or artist’s studio. This artwork requires somewhat high heat to melt wax into liquid, so it's best left to older kids or adult crafters.
